Stevieslaw: Trump names Palin “Intelligence Czar.”

Donald Trump continued his remaking of the intelligence agencies today by appointing former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential Candidate, Sarah Palin, to oversee the operation of the CIA, NSA, FBI and all intelligence services run by the military. This is in addition to his appointment of Billionaire Stephen Feinberg to review all Intelligence work.

Trump said that someone to coordinate the action of all the intelligent agencies, a sort of “intelligence Czar” was critically needed to stem the leak of classified information. “There are a bunch of losers in the each of these organizations and Sarah will have the power to fire and prosecute them,” he said.

Trump noted, “I was drawn to Sarah because of her firm grasp on the nature of international relations.  She has repeatedly demonstrated this. She is high IQ. In addition, it is impressive that she delegated herself to keep an eye on Russia, from the top floor of the Governor’s Mansion in Juneau, without asking for any compensation. That’s a great American.”

Trump concluded by saying, “Sarah has aged well and I would still date her.”

Stevieslaw: Of course it could happen here department

Stevieslaw: Of course it could happen here department.

Director Richard Clancy, who came out of retirement two years ago to help restore a Secret Service that had been rocked with scandal, has retired once again. Donald Trump will pick the new head of the agency and an administration spokesperson has confided in Smokey Diamond that the leading candidate is Richard Spencer. Spencer runs the National Policy Institute, an alt-right think tank that supports neo-Nazi policies. His rallies feature the Nazi salute and cries of “Hail, Trump.” He has called for the “peaceful ethnic cleansing” of the United States.”

Chief Trump advisor Steve Bannon, who described Mr. Spencer as a leading intellectual of the alt right, said “Richard is perfect for the job. He will bring his own touch and own people to the position. His argument for having secret service members wear uniforms—to promote an “esprit de corps” is brilliant. In fact, one of his followers has designed a snappy brown shirt that seems perfect for the job.”

Stevieslaw: Compatince (alt spelling)

Stevieslaw: Can we bring back the private email server, please?

There is strong evidence to suggest that the discussion between President Trump and Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, on how to deal with the North Korean missile provocation was recorded by the intelligence services of 47 nations and a hacker named Bob. The critical discussions over the dinner table at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort reportedly got so loud, that some of the wealthy diners at other tables asked the wait-staff if they might suggest that Trump’s party “tone down the strategic briefing.” “The nuke this, nuke that,” talk was frightening, said one patron. The clearest recordings, should you decide to listen in, are available on the official websites of Albania, China, and São Tomé and Principe. Hacker Bob’s recording is, sadly, not so good.

Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Foundation, said that his government had no need to record the conversations as Michael Flynn, former White House National Security advisor, was able to hand deliver the cocktail napkins the two world leaders used to write the details of their response on directly to the Russian Embassy in Washington.

Stevieslaw: Cousin Myron Hears Tales of Woe

We have become the “what?” generation. At a 2nd Woodstock, we could listen to the sounds of silence.

stevieslaw's avatarStevie's Law

I felt it was significant that I heard the news first from Myrna—Myron’s long suffering wife.  You’ve all met Myron before—idiot savant, math whizz, accounting superstar and wealthy beyond all reason, thanks to his ability to pick the winning ponies. Myrna told me what all of us had known for quite a while.  Myron had been to see an audiologist and found out he couldn’t hear.  I figured Myron, who hadn’t called, was suffering with the news that he needed a hearing aid.  I met him down at his bridge club in Canarsie.  He just started playing bridge and has already amassed some 5 or 6 hundred Masters points, or whatever they call it when you win.  The other players are talking about taking up chess.

I asked if he was okay about needing hearing aids.

“Of course, I am you wuss” he said with his usual charm.  “The hearing…

Stevieslaw: Jeff Sessions urges good ol’ boys to be patient*

Jeff Sessions, Trump appointee for attorney general, cautioned his followers “not to expect miracles.” Sessions, in a remarkably candid interview, said that the work of restoring slavery would take months rather than days. “We have amendments to repeal, slave quarters to build, and auction houses to start up—it will require a great amount of work,” he told CNN. “Further,” he said, “the importance of restoring the slave economy will not be apparent until we deport the 13 or 14 million illegal aliens that do the work that no one else wants to do.” “Do you want to pick cantaloupe,” he continued. “I thought not.”

Sessions was more optimistic about obtaining reparations for the families of former slaveowners. “This is an easy bill to move through a Republican Congress—particularly if we work at night with the lights out,” he said.

“We…

Stevieslaw: Nordstrom Nationalized.

Stevieslaw: Nordstrom Nationalized

U.S. Special Forces, in a seamless operation across the Nation, occupied all 123 Nordstroms, 215 Nordstrom Racks, 5 Trunk Clubs, 2 Jeffreys, 2 clearance stores and Corporate Headquarters in Seattle. Trump tweeted in the early morning hours that the troops sustained no casualties and that the stores were effectively in the hands of the U.S. Government.

Press Secretary, Sean Spicer, addressed the press at 3:30 AM, while dressed in a pair of flowered pajamas he had purchased from Nordstrom when they were still a privately owned corporation.

Spicer told the Press, “Nordstrom had been warned. They could have returned Ivanka Trump’s clothing line to their shelves and avoided this action completely. They brought this upon themselves.” Mr. Spicer went on to say that Ivanka’s clothing line would be on the shelves when the stores opened tomorrow at 10. “Moreover,” he said, there will be a huge sale—very big, best sale yet, on many items of clothing.” For example, an Ivanka Trump Matte Jersey Dress, which normally sells for $79.20, will be marked down to $56, a savings of $23.20.

Congressional Republicans were generally supportive of the action. Marco Rubio praised the professionalism of the troops and tweeted, “this sends a strong message to retailers not only in the United States but around the world.”

Stevieslaw: House Republicans to privatize breathing

Stevieslaw: House Republicans to privatize breathing

House Republicans introduced legislation today that would permit multinational corporations to buy “breathing zones,” in the United States. The cost of each zone would be tied to the resident population. Americans would be charged for breathing on the basis of a measured respiration rate.

Said spokesperson, Igot Mine, “The average American consumes about 550 liters of oxygen everyday and it is incomprehensible that no one is making money from this bodily function. Corporations are currently making money for all sorts of human misery and need—think of private prisons, healthcare, and student loans, for example, why not for air?

“I might have missed it, but when was breathing declared a right?” he continued.

Mr. Mine went on to say that the new “breathing industries” would provide a huge stimulus to the economy with tens of thousands of trickle down jobs. Moreover, the poor would be heavily subsidized in the compassionate Republican plan by being taught how to hold their breath.

Stevieslaw: House Republicans Fix Child Labor Laws

Stevieslaw: House Republicans fix child labor laws.

House Republicans today repealed the major provisions of the child labor laws which had basically governed how long and how hard children under the age of 16 could work.

Republican spokesperson, Igot Mine, said “a major cause of income inequality is that American families–particularly poor and lower middle class families, are not maximizing their labor potential. Two income families have become the norm and increasing prices for housing, education and child care have more than “eaten up” the second income. A way out of this tangle is to have families put their children into the work force earlier.”

Mr. Mine continued, “Republicans recognize that American childhood is too long and that the education of most children in these socio-economic groups is wasted. Moreover, having children in the workforce will dramatically increase the tax base and help to provide the manpower needed to replace the huge number of illegal aliens we are going to deport.”

Democrats, after a long and contentious floor battle, were able to preserve the existing regulations for children under 4 years of age. Said their spokesperson, Raúl
Over, “it’s the best we could do.”

Stevieslaw: House Repubs ask: How many other massacres never happened?

A spokesperson for Tea Party Republican Congressman, Tim Huelskampn, said today that the House of Representatives will form a blue ribbon panel to investigate not only the massacre at Bowling Green but other massacres as well. “Bowling Green is just the tip of the iceberg,” he said. House Republican want to know how many other massacres, that never happened, were we kept in the dark about? Clearly, the Obama administration–led by a Muslim, kept the Press from reporting these events that did not happen.”

“With 83% of Republican believing that the Bowling Green Massacre actually occurred and that the news of it was suppressed, he continued, “We must leave no stone unturned in tying these fictional events to Obama. This could be the biggest scandal to hit Washington since Watergate and we are rightfully calling it “BowlingGreenGate.”
